Gabe’s acquires an American Augers DD-625 drill rig, empowering crews to take on large-diameter and long-distance trenchless projects.
The Gabe’s team celebrates 75 years of service in the underground utility industry.
Gabe’s refreshes the brand and establishes four business units: collaborative delivery, horizontal directional drilling, underground conduit high-voltage infrastructure, and Gabe’s Technical Services.
After twenty-five years of service, Matthew Gabrielse has stepped down from his position as President. Justin Zylstra has been appointed as the new President and Chief Executive Officer, bringing eight years of significant contributions that have enabled a seamless leadership transition. Justin, together with Chief Operating Officer Nate Eastway, continues to empower and motivate employees across the organization. Under their leadership, the company has introduced a new business operating system, launched a professional development program, and announced major fleet upgrades during the January all-company meeting. With a forward-looking vision and a culture firmly rooted in core values, Gabe’s remains deeply committed to helping clients connect communities to the essential utilities that enhance quality of life.
