Gabe’s placed 1,394 feet of 12” steel pipe in rock — all under delineated wetlands. Their HDD crew worked through Ashtabula’s hard rock from the initial pilot bore to a final 18” ream.
Because of this site’s protected wetland status, the client was very concerned about inadvertent release of drilling fluid. Gabe’s in-house engineering team performed a hydrofracture analysis and concluded that a deeper path would successfully mitigate hydraulic fracture risk. Their engineers worked directly with the client to modify the design. Gabe’s contributions addressed the client’s concerns and accelerated project completion.
